Well for starter, this is not really a diet and it is not a torture, because smoothies are not only healthy, but also tasty!
First step to success: make it an exciting journey! Go shopping, by all kinds of fruits, greens, plant milks, maybe something you have never tried before.
Another amazing thing is that you combine different products and experiment and also you get to do a decoration on the top of your smoothie bowl.
Now, remember, that bowl will be much better than a smoothie in a glass, because the one in a bowl is supposed to be thick and you will most likely eat with the spoon. Also, the amount of consumed food is visibly larger. When your eyes see a big portion, your mouth needs to chew the food, the brain will inform your stomach that its alright! You are eating tasty big bowl of goodness. Yumm...
You can do this exercise once in a while, whenever you start feeling heavy in your stomach. Number of days are also totally up yo you, as long as you feel well!
What I can put in my smoothie
- Banana (I put in all of them mostly, because it helps the texture)
- Frozen / Fresh berries
- Kale
- Spinach
- Kiwi
- Apple
- Mango
- Cucumber
- Ginger
- Beetroot
- Peanut Butter
- Dates (very small portion)
- Cocoa Powder (no sugar)
- Coffee
- Any plant-based milk : soy, almond, coconut
- Chia Seeds
- Goji berries
